683 Royalty-Free Audio Tracks for "Metallic Noise"

In this sound track, someone is handling a bag of crisps with strong intent on making rumple noises. The motion is holding and folding the bag of crisps. The sounds has a metallic quality to it, the motion is done at random. Useful for sample slicing. It is recorded with a simple tie microphone and then edited on audacity to reduce noise and isolate the sound.

Part one out of who knows. I made this sound using an existing sound from my old tv, and a default static cut up into chunks from audacity.

A nailgun sound recorded in a small room. The audio source is situated to the right of the recording device. An audible metallic noise is present in some parts of the sample. Recording cut and normalized but otherwise unprocessed. Recorded with zoom h4n pro.

Squeaky audio cable-to-speaker incomplete connection. One end is plugged into a speaker and the other is not plugged into anything. The squeaking sound is made from my fingers touching the tip and sides of the metal tip of the non-connected end of the cable. The variation of sound and pitch is from moving my fingers up and down the metal tip in different speeds, angles, and placements.

While i was recording someone sharpening a garden scrape on a dual stone grinding machine, the utensil got stuck between one of the stones and a metal protective bracket, creating a terrifying noise until the motor gives up. An edited version of pagancow's dorm door open and dorm door close - a large door with an industrial, metal doorknob opening and then closing. I removed a little of the background noise and combined the two files.

Pattering of rain on a metal roof, with water dripping onto the window sills. The windows are slightly open, so the noise isn't completely muted. Outside, rain falls onto concrete and asphalt.

Shots from a sako85 hunting rifle, has been noise-reduced so sounds a little bit metallic, but still more than servicable.

Boxcars creaking as the train begins to move from standstill. Recorded far from the engines so no roar to drown the pure metal creaking sounds. Some wind noise -- one bump right at the start -- recorded on a very windy day.

An atmospheric and mostly mellow walking recording in lower east side, nyc. There are many metal access doors to the streetside businesses that are built into the sidewalk and that is the banging that you hear as people walk over them. Clips also has a few snips in it.

A recording of a noise of a polish train running, slowing down with the specific metalic sqeaky sound, stopping, accelarating and then running slowly. At the end of the clip there is a motorcycle passing by no the road parallel to the train tracks. Recording was made using zoom h4n on 48khz and 24bit settings.

Recorded and processed at 24bit 48khz using a rode nt1-a condenser microphone. Processing: gain-staging and soft high and low frequency filtering. No eq boost or cuts anywhere else. Also de-noised.

Think maybe a sabbath type of riff, low gain distortion but enough of an edge to call it thick/heavy. Probably better split into a smaller segment. Number 95 – flange harmonics g to d – harmonic noise which you could probably use smaller pieces of to signal an alarm/warning type of sound.

This is a recording of a metal desk creaking with very little movement. I recorded this sound, amplified it, and removed the white noise. That's the only processing this sound has gone through. This recording is of me getting ready to do some simple welding. In this you will hear a collection of noises which are me moving pieces of metal around and getting placement correct for each piece. As well you will hear the activation of two exhaust fans and a couple tacks of the welder.

I recorded the weird sound coming from a street underground box/pipe pumping water nearby my place. Not sure how to explain it in english. Recorded with a tascam dr40 48/24.

Amazing screeching sound made by my friend's dishwasher. Sounds like a horrible metal demon thing screaming or something. One of those sounds that the imagination runs wild with, so i wanted to share.

Why does everything i upload sound like people screaming and/or chainsaws!?. Sound source is a contact mic producing feedback into various fx. The main fx used for the clip are a sirkut electronics gnarler, boss metal zone, dod grunge, and finally, a danelectro french fries auto wah. Recorded direct-to-sound card as usual. An old sample. I don't remember if this was made in soundforge or goldwave, but i think it was originally a recording of my voice. . . Some kind of chewbacca-like noise. Heavilly flanged. Oh, and please, forgive the onomatopoeic naming convention, but i like my sounds to look like they sound.

A ticking wall clock chimes 9 times, 10 times and 11 times. Including the ticking noise. The clock is old, so maybe the bell isn't that perfect, than newer ones.
